The year is 1942. The Allies are deadlocked in Europe and the Axis have maintained the advantage. With straining logistics and dwindling resources, the United States, the British Commonwealth, and the Soviet Union needed to change the tide of the war before Germany and its allies became unstoppable. Operation Torch was the operation that, in the words of Winston Churchill, was “the end of the beginning”.

This project is meant to recognize and emphasize the significance of the Siege of Casablanca in relation to the broader Second World War and to bring to light an often-forgotten story.
